Peter Rossiter [Clement McCallin] lives with his wife Liz Rossiter [Helen Shingler], who is left paralyzed after a car accident caused by her own pulling of the steering wheel. The strain of their tragedy pushes Peter toward an affair with his calculating sister-in-law, Honor [Sheila Burrell], a woman who ruthlessly pursues what she wants and seems to measure people by what they can do for her.
