Joanne “Jo” Newton, Chelse Swain, a clever teen hungry for her father’s attention, ends up at an exclusive private boarding school after she’s caught breaking into her dad’s computer company. The campus is on the brink of installing a new, sophisticated security system, and Jo’s skill with machines sets her apart from her peers. As a punishment, she and several other students are left behind when everyone else departs for Spring Break, under the watchful eye of the school’s Dean, Headmaster Bradeen, Lance Henriksen. The tension between Jo’s need for recognition and the rigid, high-stakes world of the academy begins to simmer, and the stage is already set for a dangerous experiment in control and surveillance.
