Born to Polish-Jewish immigrants, Jean-Marie Lustiger’s life is marked by a unique journey as he embraces both his Jewish heritage and his calling as a Catholic priest. Rising to become the Archbishop of Paris, he dedicates himself to fostering understanding and bridging cultural differences. However, his position is challenged when a controversial plan to establish a Carmelite convent near Auschwitz threatens to ignite historical tensions.
