The Jennie Project 2001
Doctor Hugo Archibald brings home a chimpanzee named Jennie. Wife Lea fears trouble, but his children—Andrew—bond with her. Jennie learns sign language, shares Andrew’s love of baseball and comics, and helps him during arguments with his father. Veterinarian Pamela Prentiss doubts the family’s care, but Lea eventually finds a method that works.
