The Dragon, a dangerous inmate plotting an escape and vengeance, becomes entangled with a global mafia that runs illegal betting on martial‑arts fights and is tied to drug trafficking. In prison he clashes with McClain (Randholp McClain), an American jailed for killing his opponents. After being freed, both are forced to compete in the World Martial Arts Championship alongside Argentine world champion wrestler Hector Echavarria.
