Haunted by his past as a government assassin, Jonathan Hemlock seeks refuge as an art collector. In the midst of a seemingly tranquil existence as an art professor and a mountaineer, Jonathan Hemlock finds himself unwillingly pulled back into the murky waters of espionage. The instigator of this unwelcome return is the shadowy and menacing figure known as Dragon, who, unbeknownst to many, has a connection to Hemlock’s past as his former handler at C2, the covert government agency. Dragon is described as a pale ex-Nazi who has managed to survive through a series of blood transfusions, adding layers to his already complex persona.
