What Is The Devil’s Sisters About?
The premise of The Devil’s Sisters without spoilers.
The film dramatizes the real‑life Las Poquianchis murders in Mexico, where sisters Delfina and María de Jesús González used false “help‑wanted” ads to lure young women, addict them to drugs and force them into prostitution. When victims grew too ill, exhausted or defiant, they were killed, and some customers were murdered as well. Police later uncovered 91 bodies on the sisters’ property.
