Polina, the film’s central figure, is haunted by a series of unsettling dreams in which a living flower blooms on the doors of an ancient castle, inviting her to pass through into a realm that feels both mesmerizing and dangerous. To unravel the meaning behind these visions, she turns to a trusted friend, a local fortune teller, and together they delve into the town’s quiet archives. In the dim stacks of the library, they steal an old book that seems to describe the very story Polina keeps seeing in her sleep. Curiously, some pages start out blank, only to gradually fill with scenes from Polina’s dreams and her waking life as events begin to unfold in real time.
