
British secret agent Charles Dobbs investigates the suspicious death of Foreign Office officer Samuel Fennan. He suspects Fennan’s wife Elsa, a Holocaust survivor, holds key clues, but officials pressure him to drop it. He hires retired inspector Mendel and reunites with friend Dieter Frey to expose the spy and find Fennan’s killer.
