Four friends — Sailor, Actor, Dimati, and Major — reunite at a café to celebrate Major’s birthday, only for the moment of cheer to be shattered when Major is suddenly kidnapped. The captors demand a hefty ransom of 1,000,000 euros from his friends, pulling the group into a high-stakes game they never anticipated.

Each friend sets off on a different path to raise the money. Sailor heads to Saint Petersburg to sell someone else’s apartment, navigating a city known for its lively nightlife as he chases a brisk, high-stakes deal. Meanwhile, Dimati spends the hours on the run, dodging a hostile crowd of skinheads who target him because of his skin color, turning the quest into a tense, personal chase. Major grows increasingly anxious and keeps trying to escape his captivity, with every attempt thwarted, leaving him in a loop of frustration and fear. And Actor immerses himself in a string of TV appearances, screening various roles and performances in a bid to secure the needed funds.

They decide to travel back in time in an attempt to prevent Major from stepping into the kidnappers’ car. Their reckless journey lands them in 1772, during the era of Catherine the Great, where they impulsively steal the empress’s crown, an audacious move that changes the course of their mission.

Returning to the present with the crown in hand, they confront the captors, only to uncover a startling truth: the entire kidnapping was a prank orchestrated by Major’s father. His aim was to teach his friends a lesson, to make them value their friendship beyond money and material concerns.
