Willy Vander Brook, a Franco‑Belgian professional, travels to Paris for a job interview and is received by his childhood friend Serge, a former pub owner, and his roommate Frank, an ardent supporter of Walloon independence. After learning his candidacy is rejected solely because he is Belgian, Willy joins Serge and Frank in planning a calculated act of revenge.
