Subramaniam alias Right is a rowdy in North Chennai who runs a separate gang and operates as the loyal enforcer for a feared underworld don from the same area. This boss, Qaasim Bhai, relies on Right and his crew as professional killers whenever the need arises, shaping a tense power dynamic that underpins the film’s drive.

Into this combustible world steps ACP Ravikumar, a cop who believes in his own hard-edged brand of justice—preferring immediate action over lengthy court procedures. Meanwhile, Divya, a student, enters Right’s life and finds shelter in his house, sparking an unlikely romance that unsettles the power balance around them.

Tensions erupt when a clash pits Right against Qaasim Bhai. Right’s ally, Balu, kills Nassir, the son of Qaasim Bhai, after a trucker is ordered to ram a convoy that ends up killing innocent children. Qaasim Bhai retaliates by killing Balu, a brutal reminder of the personal costs of the gang war. Watching these events unfold, Right confronts the possibility of leaving the underworld behind.

A parallel thread provides comic relief through Naai Shekar, played by Naai Shekar, Divya’s supposed uncle who wants to become a criminal himself, injecting humor amid the escalating danger.

The situation intensifies with the arrival of the corrupt ACP Gopinath. He harasses Divya, who has suffered attacks while in prison, fueling Right’s resolve to neutralize his enemies once and for all. Right hatches a bold plan, ordering a Sniper Shooter to target the station’s police inspector and a shady Truck Driver to strike at the heart of law enforcement. The plan leads to the assassination of Gopinath, clearing a brutal path toward confronting Qaasim Bhai.

Qaasim Bhai travels to a hotel, planning a getaway, but a wristwatch in his wife Vaani’s room—an item gifted by a corrupt MLA—becomes a fatal clue. The watch appears to seal his fate when the MLA is killed in a misguided act of vengeance. The confrontation between Right and Qaasim Bhai ends with Right choking the rival in a basement showdown, signaling the fall of the rival faction.

As Right and Divya move toward a final escape at the dock, betrayal from within threatens them: Sashi’s sister’s suicide is blamed on Right, and his own gang member Sashi betrays him. A police deployment closes in, and Right is killed by a coordinated police response, ending the climb of the North Chennai underworld’s power pair.

The film weaves gritty street-level action with moments of humor and romance, offering a stark look at loyalty, ambition, and the heavy price exacted when violence becomes a way of life.
