He travels to Shen’s apartment, where he shoots Shen, sparing Zhou in a swirl of bullets and fear. Li then wanders the city streets, drawn toward Shu, who has been collaborating with Shun to seduce and extort men. They retreat to a hotel room as police close in, and Shu, wary of Li’s odd, unsettled behavior, draws a knife.
