What Is Tempest About?
The premise of Tempest without spoilers.
During the collapse of Czarist Russia, a peasant ascends to the rank of lieutenant, sparking resentment from aristocratic officers who thwart him. He falls for a princess, who rejects him; when discovered in her chambers, he is stripped of rank and jailed. As the Red Terror erupts, his fortunes reverse.
