In the fictional nation of Dongrila, General Dong rules with an iron fist, snatching dozens of schoolgirls to turn them into suicide bombers and to fuel a brutal system of prostitution and illegal organ trade. He even orchestrated the assassination of the Indian Army’s chief, General Sinha. During a seaside trip with his daughter, Major Krishna Rao spots a schoolgirl fleeing Dong’s men and a larger danger unfolds: the girl dies as Rao and his daughter Dolly attempt a rescue. Backed into a grim corner, Rao confronts Dong, overpowers him, and is shot in the arm in the process. He forces two boats to carry the captured girls and, when Dong’s men reclaim the scene, Rao is forced to witness the dictator’s escape. Dong challenges Rao to return within a year to rescue his daughter, and in a cruel turn he mutilates Rao by cutting off one of his legs with an eerie chant echoing in the air.
After a brutal recovery, Rao refuses to let despair define him. He forms an elite unit named Force Five, gathering a cadre of capable officers to take on Dong and his regime. The team includes Captain Ranvir Ranvir, a sharp and determined leader; Captain Rakesh Rakesh, known for strategic grit; Captain Javed Javed, whose experience under pressure proves invaluable; Captain Anju Sinha Anju Sinha, a capable navigator and fighter; and the seasoned, world-weary Ex-Major Dharam Singh Dharam Singh, whose presence lends weight to the group. Rao also wins the reluctant backing of Brigadier Kapoor, a senior officer, and the committee chairman Mr. Iyengar, forging a fragile national consensus that victory would be a symbol of national pride even as failure would be a personal blow.
The mission stretches across mountains and borderlands, weaving through the treacherous terrain between India and China as Rao’s team works to strike at Dong’s stronghold and free Dolly along with dozens of captive girls. On the way, they receive aid from Jenny, the wife of Dongrila’s former army chief [Mr. D’Costa], as well as Prince Couv and Julie, who become crucial figures in the unfolding operation. In a perilous hospital sequence, Rao’s team faces a siege: gangland forces cut the power and surround a big-city hospital where Major Rao’s mounting gangrene demands surgery. To secure a path to safety, the squad contemplates sweeping the area, but Rao insists they protect the mission’s integrity. When the group is pushed to act, Dharam Singh volunteers to spearhead the assault, while Rao appoints him as the new acting commander for the moment.
Tragedy strikes again as Julie’s brother Captain Jello kills the young son of Mrs. D’Costa during the chaos, exposing a web of loyalties and betrayals. The revelation that Julie is an informer of Captain Cynthia creates a tense rift within the team. Captain Javed and Captain Rakesh work to counter Dong’s influence, with Rakesh even being offered a chance to switch sides as the team presses its assault. The alliance of forces culminates in a spectacular clash at Dongrila’s Annual Day, where Rao and his loyalists strike a decisive blow against General Dong.
The climax is marked by a dramatic double-cross. Brigadier Kapoor flips sides, attempting to shoot Rao’s team in a final act of betrayal; he is outmaneuvered and killed in a moment that mirrors the earlier fate of Allah Rakha, as Dharam Singh dispatches Kapoor with a sharp, fateful shot. In the end, Dong is defeated, his tyranny toppled, and the soldiers of Force Five stand tall. The film seals its confrontation with a memorable nod to cinema’s frontier mythos as Dharam Singh delivers the line, a homage to a classic showdown: “If you want to shoot, shoot, don’t talk.”
Throughout the journey, the ensemble cast plays out a tapestry of loyalties, courage, and sacrifice, with each character brought to life by a dedicated cast that anchors the narrative in a resolute, action-driven realism. Captain Ranvir [Naseeruddin Shah], Captain Rakesh, Captain Javed, Captain Anju Sinha, Ex-Major Dharam Singh, Brigadier Kapoor, Julie, Prince Kow, Allah Rakha, Dong, Jenny D’Costa, and Captain Cynthia all leave their mark on a saga that blends battle-front drama with high-stakes rescue missions and the relentless pursuit of justice in the face of tyranny.
