In 2008, a fragment from an asteroid plummets into Peckham, London and collides with Robert ‘Bob’ Kenner, a mild-mannered, socially awkward postman who keeps to himself more than most people would admit. The impact jolts him with extraordinary abilities, and at first he tries to figure out how to control them on his own. A reckless moment—crashing into The Shard—forces him to surrender to the authorities, setting in motion a strange path from everyday guy to something far more legendary. Trained by the Ministry of Defence, Bob](/actor/brett-goldstein) emerges as SuperBob, the world’s first superhero who technically works for the MOD and the British Government as a civil servant, a status that both constrains and empowers him in equal measure.
