What Is Sunday About?

The film recounts the tragic events of 30 January 1972 in Derry, Northern Ireland, when a peaceful civil‑rights march organized by the NICRA against internment ended with thirteen participants shot dead and fifteen injured—now known as Bloody Sunday. Told from the perspective of the Derry community and contrasted with the British army’s preparations and official response, it aims to convey the forensic and emotional truth of that day and the subsequent cover‑up by the British government.
