What Is Streamlined Swing About?
The premise of Streamlined Swing without spoilers.
A miniature musical follows a band of African‑American railway waiters who think they’ve struck a deal to acquire a dining‑car and turn it into a street‑side diner on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. To attract patrons they perform a cappella numbers that become the film’s soundtrack. Just as they entertain a crowd of well‑to‑do onlookers, the police arrive with unwelcome news.
