Denver sportscaster Piper, a competitive single mother, is unexpectedly drawn into her son’s school after a bullying incident. There, she meets Erik, the equally determined father of the victim. The school principal suggests they collaborate on the school play, Romeo and Juliet, to ensure both boys receive the attention they need. As they work together, Piper must overcome her insecurities, confront her growing feelings for Erik, and learn some new skills, all while preparing for opening night.
