Sirish [Allu Sirish] falls in love with Anu / Ananya [Lavanya Tripathi], and their budding romance begins in an unusual way: he approaches her as a common man, claiming he has lost his purse and asking for help to uncover his identity after a clash with goons. Anu hesitates at first, but her instinct to help him softens her stance.

Later, Anu’s friend discovers Sirish’s purse tucked away in his backpack, and Sirish opens up to the friend about a surprising truth: he is not just an ordinary man, but carries wealth and status. His father, Sirish’s Dad [Prakash Raj], has laid out a plan tied to love and wealth. The test is simple on the surface—if Anu falls for Sirish without knowing he is rich, they will marry; if she discovers the truth and rejects him, he will marry the girl his father chooses. This revelation sets the stage for a tension-filled romance where genuine affection must withstand the weight of pretensions and family expectations.

As feelings deepen, Anu begins to fall in love with Sirish. Just as she is poised to propose, her father [Rao Ramesh] reveals a competing concern: Anu’s godparents want her to marry their son Arun. Not wanting to hurt their feelings, she reluctantly agrees to consider the match, creating a conflict between true love and family obligations. The situation pushes Sirish to take a bold step. He travels to Anu’s village with the aim of getting Anu to confess her love openly, enlisting the help of Shyam Sundar, a marriage broker [Ali Basha], to facilitate a formal confession and navigate the family dynamics.

Amid the village visit, Anu’s father contemplates the future and asks whether Sirish’s family can truly take care of Anu. Sirish confronts the reality that even a marriage to Anu might place her in an outsider position within his own family, something that would mirror the sense of being an outsider akin to his sister-in-law. This realization becomes a catalyst for honesty and reconciliation. Sirish confesses everything to his father, and the two men engage in a candid discussion about responsibility, respect, and the kind of acceptance that would truly honor Anu.

In a pivotal turn, Sirish’s father engages with Anu’s father, acknowledging the past misjudgments and reaffirming a promise to change. He commits to treating Anu as his own daughter from that day forward and to ensuring that his daughters-in-law are welcomed as part of the family.
