A seasoned commedia dell’arte piece, The Servant of Two Masters follows the scheming yet hapless servant Truffaldino, whose endless hunger fuels a tangled web of mistaken identities and misunderstandings around an upcoming engagement. Within a tight‑knit family he interacts with classic masks—penny‑pinching Pantalone, the wise doctor, the young lovers, innkeeper Brighella and maid Smeraldina—culminating in a series of surprising twists that resolve in a joyful conclusion. Miroslav Donutil’s improvisational performance brings the traditional characters to lively life.
