In a valley where wolves and sheep share a tense balance, a curious sheep named Ziko begins an unlikely chronicle of the wild frontier around him. While he tries to document outdoor life, he stumbles upon a striking wolf named Grey and flees in a panic back to his village, coaxing the flock to safety as a newly arrived pack settles into the nearby ravine. The wolves’ leader, Magra, signals that his days of ruling are numbered and announces a formal rite of succession: two candidates, Ragear and Grey, will contest leadership. Ragear is blunt, stormy, and self-centered, openly denying Magra’s values that even prey deserve some respect. Grey, by contrast, carries a playful edge and the air of a joker, smitten with Bianca the beautiful she-wolf, though his habit of not taking things seriously irritates her. The contrast between them sets the stage for a reluctant clash of ideals.

Grey’s swagger and tests of loyalty begin to reveal themselves. After Grey humiliates Ragear for disobeying Magra’s orders, fate drops another encounter into his path: a small lamb named Shia who wandered into the meadow despite her elder sister Lyra’s warnings. Grey, with an unexpected soft spot, chooses to spare Shia rather than harm her, an act that hints at a gentler side beneath his bravado.

During a wolf-pack celebration, Grey’s bravado grows sharper, deepening Bianca’s doubts about his maturity and his fitness to lead. She ends things, arguing that he’s still too immature for the weight of leadership. Seeking a change, Grey visits a distant gypsy camp where he meets the eccentric hare Mami. She offers him a transmutation potion, a tempting shortcut to win Bianca’s heart by transforming him into a creature she finds more acceptable. Grey drinks and hopes for a rebirth of affection, but the potion works in an unexpected way: it turns him into a ram, not a man-wolf.

The world flips. A dazed Grey is knocked out and wakes to find himself in the sheep village, cared for by Lyra. He struggles with the abrasive reality of his new form and fights the urge to wake from a dream he doesn’t want to end. The revelation crawls back as memories of Mami’s potion surface, yet the truth remains elusive. The wolf-pack, meanwhile, believes Grey fled in fear rather than transforming, and they view him as a traitor in their midst.

The next morning brings a new test: a tournament invites Grey to prove his strength. He faces Louis the Fierce, a battle that pushes him to rely on instinct rather than strategy, even resorting to biting in moments of desperation. Yet danger also reveals his capacity to protect others. Grey earns the herd’s trust when he guards Lyra and Shia from two approaching wolves, forging fragile bonds of loyalty with those who had doubted him. At a welcome party, his impulsive courage inspires Shia to stand up to danger, a reckless decision that leads to trouble when Shia is captured by Ragear after witnessing Magra’s murder at the hands of the rival leader.

The wolves take control, and Grey faces the consequences. Grey and the quick-witted Moz stage a rescue of Shia, but Ragear learns that Grey has been transformed into a ram. Fueled by anger and ambition, Ragear moves to seize Shia and muscle his way into Magra’s place. In the chaos, Grey returns to the mountains seeking answers, where Bianca explains Ragear’s usurpation and Magra’s death—though she herself does not know Ragear killed him. A local sheep named Ziko photographs Grey, and the image is packaged as evidence that Grey is a spy for the wolves. Accusations swirl, and Grey becomes an outcast once more, forced to leave as Shia recognizes him as the wolf who spared him in the meadow.

A path to reckoning, and a test of transformation. Mami appears again with crucial news: the wolf-pack plans to attack the village, and Grey has one chance to change back—if he can reach a particular tree by noon the next day. He returns to warn the flock, urging them to stand and defend themselves. The following morning, the wolves press forward with cunning traps and a brutal chase that drives the sheep into a cave and seals them with rising water. Grey, fighting with a heavy heart and a heavier burden, saves the pack he once considered an enemy, and Ragear seizes Shia in the confusion. Shia denounces Ragear, revealing the motive behind Magra’s death, and Grey challenges the top warrior to a final duel for leadership.

The turning point—not through a potion, but through growth. Mami and Bianca arrive with a supposed antidote meant to turn Grey back into a wolf; they offer a potion, but nothing happens. The true transformation comes from within, a result of Grey’s own maturing sense of responsibility and his resolve to protect both packs from ruin. The fight rages on, and Grey is buried beneath a pile of rocks, apparently defeated. Yet he rises—transformed back into a wolf at last—and drives Ragear over a waterfall, victory secured through grit, not magic.

A new harmony, born from hard-won maturity. Humble and wiser, Grey asks Bianca to be his partner, and the two are married in a ceremony that unites the sheep herd and the wolf pack. With Magra’s death and Ragear’s downfall behind him, the village moves toward a shared future where coexistence is the central promise. Mami’s final reflection underscores the lesson: the potion was nothing more than spring water, and Grey’s true change came from learning responsibility, courage, and mercy. As the two communities celebrate their newly forged alliance, the valley stands as a testament to the power of growth, understanding, and a leader who chooses unity over division.
