Mrs. Binodini Roy, a renowned industrialist, sets a practical yet stern plan in motion to secure a future for her elder daughter Rupa Rituparna Sengupta by marrying her to Majumdar, the son of her business partner. The arrangement isn’t something Rupa accepts easily; she resists the arrangement and, with the aid of her father, escapes the family home to chart her own path. On the road to safety, a tense moment arises when a cabbie tries to rob them, but fate intervenes through a brave, skilled motor-mechanic named Somu, who steps in to protect her.
