What Is Rolie Polie Olie: The Great Defender of Fun About?

The premise of Rolie Polie Olie: The Great Defender of Fun without spoilers.

Evil space pirate Gloomius Maximus, unable to enjoy fun, vows to deprive everyone else of it. An invitation to Zowie Polie’s third birthday reaches his ship, prompting Gloomius to sabotage the party with a glum ray, kidnap Zowie and Pappy, and tow the whole Polie Planet into the Gloomy Galaxy. Olie counters with his Super Silly Ray—a gift for Zowie—joined by Saturday‑morning hero Space Boy. The planet’s residents together charge the ray, repair Gloomius’s “happy gear,” and restore silliness, saving the birthday and the world.
