Robotech: Love Live Alive 2013

In the year 2044, a news reporter named Kay interviews Lancer, Cam Clarke a few hours before his scheduled concert. Lancer reflects on the events that led to the Third Robotech War, revisiting his earlier role with the 10th Mars Division and his ties to a band of rebels who helped defeat the Invid forces. The memory unfolds with a quiet intensity, setting the stage for the concert where he opens with a rendition of Lynn Minmei’s We Will Win.

After the show, as Lancer sits alone in the night, a surprising return from his family arrives. Scott Bernard [Gregory Snegoff], Marlene/Ariel, Rand [Frank Catalano], Rook [Suzy London], Lunk [Richard Epcar], and Annie join him for a campfire dinner and share updates about the REF and the broader aftermath of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. Lancer declines an invitation from Scott and Rand to join their fleet on a new mission to locate Admiral Hunter and the SDF-3, offering his own reasons as everyone heads off to rest.

Lancer, still awake, drives away from the gathering into the quiet country night. Back at his small cabin, Sera [Barbara Goodson] begins preparing breakfast for her returning love. When he returns, Lancer and Sera reaffirm their devotion, and Sera reveals that the couple is expecting their first child soon.
