What Is River Beat About?
The premise of River Beat without spoilers.
British diamond smugglers recruit a shipboard radiowoman, played by Phyllis Kirk, to unwittingly transport their loot hidden in cigarettes past customs on a freighter docked on the Thames. Unaware that she has become friendly with an inspector from the Thames River Patrol, she is drawn into a dangerous cat‑and‑mouse game.
