At the start of this decade, the bodies of eleven young Moroccan migrants who attempted the crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar wash ashore on the Playa de Getares near Algeciras. From their clothes, it becomes clear that they all come from the same village, Hansala. The film presents this tragedy through two intertwined perspectives: Martin, a funeral parlor owner who initially sees an opportunity to profit from the deaths, and Leila, the sister of one of the victims, who is determined to repatriate her brother’s body.
