Ranga, Srikanth, is a thief who makes a living in the tight-knit neighborhood of Stuart Nagar. Raised by his grandmother, Sakuntala in her own home, he develops a keen eye for corruption and a knack for turning the tables on those who abuse power. He targets corrupt police officers, slipping a sedative like chloroform into their houses to rob money and valuables, and he even desecrates the stars on their police uniforms to prove that some officers are not worthy of the badges they wear. Despite his criminal methods, Ranga is not driven by greed alone; he is drawn to the world of faction cinema and dreams of stepping into the shoes of a fearless faction leader, living out the larger-than-life myths he admires on screen.

His life takes a dangerous turn when he falls for Mangamma, a determined sub-inspector played by Vimala Raman. The pair share a reluctant chemistry, with Ranga torn between his criminal instincts and a growing sense of responsibility toward Mangamma. The relationship adds tension to his escapades, especially when a bold plan to rob the house of the city’s police commissioner, Nagendra Babu, goes awry and lands him in court.

In the courtroom, a chance encounter reveals a new truth: the man he has unconsciously idolized as a fearless faction leader is, in fact, a real figure, Bhavani Prasad. Bhavani Prasad, a formidable rival to his own faction, is portrayed by [Srikanth].
