Seetaramapuram is torn apart by a deep-rooted feud that splits the village into two halves: Seetapuram and Ramapuram. On one side stands Bhusayya, the chief of Seetapuram, and on the other, Bhadrayya commands Ramapuram. The tension is sharpened by the scheming son-in-law, Gavaraju, who relentlessly pushes for revenge against Bhadrayya’s clan. Amidst this hostile backdrop, Bhusayya and Bhadrayya watch over their people while old loyalties and new ambitions collide.

Within this volatile frame, Sundaralakshmi, the granddaughter of Bhadrayya, hopes to study in college, a dream her father, Chandrayya, quietly resents. Under pressure from Bhusayya, Chandrayya pushes Sundaralakshmi toward an arranged marriage with the village President Nagaraju. Yet a reluctant respect for Sundaralakshmi’s future leads Chandrayya to eventually allow her to attend college, setting the stage for unexpected encounters.

A college campus introduces Ram, a bright, cosmopolitan student from America, who crosses paths with Sundaralakshmi. He introduces her to city life and broadens her horizons, opening a window to a world beyond their closed villages. After a holiday visit back to Seetapuram, Ram’s presence unsettles the local order as Chandrayya disapproves of his unfamiliar ways. A skirmish with a goon from Ramapuram tests Ram’s resolve, and he openly admits to having beaten the man when the fight escalates, earning a wary peace rather than an immediate feud.

During this time, a village girl named Seshagiri falls for Ram, and with her help, he tries to win Sundaralakshmi’s heart as well. The tangled affection intensifies when Chandrayya arranges Sundaralakshmi’s engagement to Nagaraju, stirring Sundaralakshmi to admit her love for Ram. Chandrayya, however, remains wary and issues a brutal challenge: Ram must cultivate 100 acres of agricultural land to prove his worth. Undeterred, Ram accepts and triumphs, proving his farming prowess and earning the villagers’ grudging respect.

As the plot thickens, Ram uncovers a hidden alliance: Nagaraju secretly works with Gavaraju to strike at their rival village. Ram steps in, sparking a confrontation that injures Annapurnamma, Bhusayya’s wife. Ram reveals a painful truth—he is Annapurnamma’s grandson—shocking the villagers and revealing a family tie that could harmonize the two sides. The revelation deepens the rift as Gavaraju presses forward, insisting that if any heir remains, Ram must reveal the family secret.

Krishna Prasad, Bhusayya’s son and a figure loved by the village for his fairness, is openly devoted to Bhadrayya’s daughter Arundhathi. They wed without Bhusayya’s blessing, prompting Krishna Prasad’s exile. Arundhathi’s pregnancy breaks the initial chill, and Krishna Prasad contemplates sending his wife to America for higher education. In a deadly twist, Gavaraju plots to kill Krishna Prasad and Arundhathi; in the ensuing attack, Krishna Prasad sacrifices himself to save Arundhathi, and both are believed dead. The shock of their supposed deaths fractures the village, leaving the temple split between the two sides and a painful silence over the once-shared sacred space.

All the while, Ram—the son of Krishna Prasad and Arundhathi—embraces a mission born from his parents’ legacy: to reunite Seetapuram and Ramapuram. Bhusayya, confronted with the truth, begins to reform, and Ram steps forward to fulfill his mother’s last wish. In a decisive showdown with [Gavaraju], Ram succeeds in bridging the two halves back into a single Seetaramapuram, and the temple is reopened. The narrative closes on a hopeful note as Ram and Sundaralakshmi’s union seals the restored harmony, bringing the village together once more.
