Nandu / Ramu is a cheerful student navigating love and danger in Hyderabad. He lives with his parents, Tanikella Bharani and Pragathi Mahavadi, and his carefree days take a serious turn when he falls for Akarsha, a spark that soon pulls him into a web of complicated plans and hidden motives. To get closer to her, he involves his neighbour, Asha Jyothi, by exploiting a blackmail scheme, but that tactic backfires and only brings him a step nearer to Baby Shalini, Akarsha’s warm-hearted grandmother. Through these twists, Akarsha gradually starts to fall for him, tilting their precarious balance toward something genuine.

The story deepens as the group travels to Akarsha’s sister’s wedding, where it’s revealed that she is the daughter of Nagabhushanam. The celebration is upended when Nagabhushanam is ambushed; fear drives him to seek Nandu’s help, and in a grim turn, Nandu kills Nagabhushanam and asks him to remember Ammulu, a name that will haunt the course of events. After the murder, the detective Avinash closes in, linking Nandu to the string of killings. When Avinash moves to arrest him, Nandu abducts Akarsha at gunpoint and escapes, forcing a brutal confrontation that uncovers a buried past.

Nandu’s confession reveals his true identity: [Ramu], a man who once fell in love with Ammulu, a resident of Adityapuram. The two families had approved their marriage, but tragedy and ambition threaten to ruin it. Meanwhile, Nagabhushanam, along with Home Minister Umapathi and his son Bhikshapathi, schemes to seize fertile land, and Bhikshapathi’s lust for Ammulu leads to a brutal confrontation, where Ramu steps in to defend Ammulu.

As preparations for the union proceed, Ammulu’s world shatters when Nagabhushanam’s son and others attack her. Ammulu dies in the ensuing turmoil, and Ramu, heartbroken, disappears into the fog of Hyderabad, adopting the name Nandu to start anew. He rescues Ammulu’s memory by ensuring her legacy lives on in the village through a secret bridge to the future, and he leaves Ammulu’s loss behind by relocating to safety for a time with trusted friends. When he and his brothers finally strike back, they draw Bhikshapathi out of hiding and lure him to Adityapuram under the guise of a youth festival.

Ramu’s plan hinges on a fateful encounter with Bhikshapathi, who, drawn to a mysterious girl played in a special appearance by Hamsa Nandini, comes to the event. The confrontation escalates as Bhikshapathi notices Ramu and the two sides clash, but Ramu exits unharmed. The saga crescendos when Ramu reminds Bhikshapathi of Ammulu’s death and defeats him with a plough, a moment that also triggers the downfall of [Umapathi], who dies of a heart attack rather than witness the aftermath.

In the end, the violence gives way to a quieter hope. Nandu establishes a trust in his mother’s name in Adityapuram, while Akarsha dedicates herself to teaching the village’s children, offering a chance at healing and renewal after a storm of vengeance and loss. The film’s final note lingers on memory, forgiveness, and the promise of a steadier future for the people who endured the upheaval.
