In a world where power and deceit reign supreme, Shamsher Singh (Anil Kapoor), the enigmatic owner of private island Al-Shifa, has built an empire on the foundations of illicit arms trading and narcotics. His stepson, Sikander Singh (Salman Khan), is well-versed in the inner workings of this lucrative business, while his twin children, Sanjana (Daisy Shah) and Suraj (Saqib Saleem), are still learning the ropes. As a trusted associate, Yash (Bobby Deol) has earned Shamsher's confidence, often serving as a confidant to Sikander. Raghu (Sharat Saxena), a loyal bodyguard, stands watch over the entire operation.

As the narrative unfolds, a glimpse into the past reveals Rana Vijay (Freddy Daruwala), Shamsher's arch-nemesis, hell-bent on causing chaos by orchestrating hits against Shamsher and his family members. The twins' 25th birthday marks a pivotal moment in their lives, as they learn about their deceased mother's will, which allocates a significant share of the estate to Sikander, sparking resentment towards their half-brother.

In a flashback sequence set in the Handia village of the 1970s, the origins of the Singh family are brought to life. Both Ranchor and Shamsher were once involved in supplying weapons to the Indian army, but when local politicians demanded illegal arms, Ranchor refused, sparking a rivalry that would have far-reaching consequences. The death of Vijender Singh's (Manav Vij) son at the hands of Ranchor's bullet set a chain reaction of events that ultimately led to Ranchor's demise.

In the aftermath, Shamsher declared his family's innocence and sent Sikander away for studies in Beijing, hoping to distance him from the chaos. Meanwhile, Shamsher married Sumitra (Nishigandha Wad), Ranchor's widow, as per traditional family customs, and welcomed Suraj and Sanjana into the world. Before passing away due to illness, Sumitra made a will that would forever alter the dynamics of the Singh family: she left 50% of her estate to Sikander, leaving the twins with a lasting sense of unease.

As the present-day narrative unwinds at Al-Shifa, Yash (no actor specified) shares a candid moment with his girlfriend about their relationship. Meanwhile, Sikander reveals the poignant tale of his brief romance in Beijing with the enigmatic Jessica (Jacqueline Fernandez), whose sudden disappearance left him with more questions than answers. This confession is met with an intriguing revelation by childhood friend Brijmohan (Rajesh Sharma): Shamsher's hotel, once a hub for politicians' illicit escapades, was equipped with a surveillance system that captured every moment on hard disk. The coveted data was stored in a bank locker in Cambodia, accessible only through the password held by the hotel's proprietor.

Brijmohan approaches Shamsher with a proposition: retrieve the hard disk and unlock the secrets of India's political elite, offering to reveal its location in exchange for a hefty sum of 2 million dollars. As Shamsher weighs his options, he enlists Sikander's expertise, promising him a substantial reward if successful. Unbeknownst to Sikander, however, is the true intention behind this deal: Shamsher seeks to use the disk's power to clear his criminal record and return to his village.

The plot thickens as the twins, Suraj and Sanjana, secretly record Sikander's clandestine meeting with Jessica in a security room. The next day, during a lavish party, they screen the incriminating footage for Yash, leaving him reeling with shock and anger. As tensions escalate, Sikander reveals that their entire past interactions were orchestrated by the cunning twins, aimed at discrediting his reputation.

With loyalties tested and alliances forged, Yash joins forces with Sikander to thwart the twins' nefarious plans. Disguising himself as a loyal accomplice, he becomes embroiled in the twins' scheme, while secretly working against them alongside Sikander and Jessica. As they execute their plan to recover the hard disk, Suraj makes a deal with Rana to capture Sikander in Cambodian army custody, allowing them to deliver the coveted data to Shamsher.

However, Sikander's quick thinking and partnership with Jessica enable them to escape this predicament. Moreover, a shocking revelation emerges: Sanjana, the twins' enigmatic leader, has been secretly consorting with none other than Yash, further complicating the intricate web of alliances and deception that surrounds the quest for the hard disk.

As the dust settles on the explosive revelation, Shamsher's duplicity is laid bare for all to see. Having surreptitiously handed over the compromised hard disk to his unwitting accomplice Brij, who promptly unlocks it, Shamsher seizes the opportunity to eliminate Sikander by orchestrating a devastating explosion that reduces Sikander's car to rubble. With the politicians whose objectionable videos were stored on the disk now in attendance, Shamsher matter-of-factly recounts Sikander's demise, all while the twins bear witness to his callous disregard for human life.

However, Shamsher's smug confidence is short-lived, as he soon discovers that the supposedly incriminating hard disk contains nothing but a solitary video - one that reveals a shocking truth. Sikander's mother, in a hauntingly intimate confession, exposes the dark reality of her own murder by slow food poisoning at Shamsher's hands. Moreover, she reveals that Ranchor, Sikander's father, was brutally slaughtered by none other than Shamsher himself, and that the twins are Ranchor's innocent children.

Sikander, having miraculously escaped the explosion thanks to Raghu Chacha's timely intervention, arrives on the scene with a calculated calm, revealing his decade-long knowledge of this sordid secret. He had been playing along with Shamsher all along, biding his time until the perfect moment to strike. The revelation sends shockwaves through the assembled politicians and twins, who are left reeling from the treachery that has unfolded before their very eyes.

As tensions escalate, a high-stakes battle unfolds in the desert between Sikander and Yash, with Sikander emerging victorious and forcing both Yash and Shamsher to surrender to Jessica, an Interpol officer. The arrested father-son duo is subsequently flown back to their native village of Handia.

Meanwhile, behind bars, Shamsher attempts to curry favor with a corrupt police officer, while Yash is seen honing his physical prowess within the confines of his prison cell. In the aftermath, Sikander reunites with his twin siblings in Al-Shifa and shares the plan to secretly hand over the original hard disk to Jessica. In a telling exchange, Shamsher crafts a metaphorical warning about the "Sher" (tiger) of a new era, signaling a turning point in this complex web of deception and betrayal.
