What Is Prophecy About?
The premise of Prophecy without spoilers, adapted from Prophecy: Complete Omnibus Edition by Tetsuya Tsutsui.
A cyber crime investigation team at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department discovers a disturbing video on a website where a man, obscured by a newspaper, predicts a fire at a food processing company. Soon, more crime notices surface, detailing various violent acts. The videos are posted by a group called "Shinbunshi," led by Geitsu, who seeks revenge after being unfairly dismissed from an IT company where he worked as a temporary employee. He then finds others who share his desire for retribution, forming the group and escalating their actions.
