During several days and nights, an actor and an actress read the letters exchanged between Torcuato and Kamala, the film director’s parents. These letters, spanning from the 1950s to the 1970s, chronicle a relationship filled with love, idealism, and extensive world travels. They explore themes of socialism, psychoanalysis, pain, and the realities of broken dreams. As the actors delve into the correspondence, parallels and contrasts emerge in their own relationship. Simultaneously, the director reflects on his family history, attempting to piece together a deeply personal and intimate portrait of the twentieth century.
