What Is Planet Hemp: MTV ao Vivo About?
The premise of Planet Hemp: MTV ao Vivo without spoilers.
The raw, hard‑edge side of Planet Hemp takes center stage on this MTV Ao Vivo live CD, recorded in May for the network’s series that previously produced albums by Ira! and Raimundos. The tight lineup—vocalists D2 and BNegão, guitarist Rafael, bassist Formigão, and drummer Pedrinho—drops the DJ, keyboards and backup singers. The result is a vigorous, straight‑ahead rock record where the only nod to hip‑hop is the rapped vocals, swapping the band’s earlier, more eclectic sound for pure, punchy energy.
