What Is Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh About?
The premise of Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh without spoilers. The whole story is in the plot summary further down.
This ninety-minute movie reimagines the infamous full motion video game from the 90s. Written and designed by horror writer Lorelei Shannon, it serves as a sequel to Roberta Williams’s acclaimed King’s Quest series, though with a completely different story. Notorious for its explicit content, the game was censored or banned in several countries. The narrative follows Curtis Craig as he grapples with a psychological breakdown while employed at a sinister pharmaceutical company. Expect dark secrets, explorations of sexuality, and mind-bending, interdimensional elements woven into a freaky, funny, and surprisingly coherent story.
