From Jo’s perspective, she suspects that [Srinivas] is abusive, a doubt that threads through their budding relationship and sets the stage for the mystery to come.

As their bond grows, [Jeeva] becomes more at ease with Jo’s forthrightness, and Jo learns that he is unconditionally open with his own parents. The mood shifts dramatically when a metal roof collapses, injuring Jeeva’s hand just as a moment of proposal hangs in the air. On Jo’s insistence, Jeeva begins to shadow the lives of the feuding couple, following a drunken night and listening to the stories each one tells. In a stunning turn, they realize that the two couples’ stories seem to run parallel—that what Srinivas and Swathi experienced in the past appears to be echoing in Jo and Jeeva’s present. The revelation seizes them with a shared chill: their lives might be mirrors, a phenomenon they come to understand more fully as they press on.

Jo’s suspicions deepen when she sees Srinivas transporting an unconscious Swathi in his car to an unknown location. Fearful for their own safety, Jo and Jeeva break into Srinivas and Swathi’s home to search for clues. There they uncover a file connected to a psychiatrist, moving the investigation toward a larger conspiracy. Yet a startling twist comes to light: the file actually belongs to Swathi, not Srinivas, and the health conditions of Jo and Swathi appear intertwined in a way that cannot be explained away as mere coincidence. A scientist emerges to explain the impossible: a rare phenomenon called Parallel Life, in which the events Srinivas and Swathi endured in the past unfold for Jo and Jeeva in the present, and any attempt to alter those events could trigger unpredictable changes to the future.

With this new framework, the pair retreat to Jo’s apartment, where they uncover another brutal truth: Swathi was murdered and Srinivas has taken the blame to shield someone else. The fear of becoming the next target drives Jo to consider drastic measures, including suicide, but Jeeva’s faith in the truth keeps him moving forward. His investigation expands with the help of a local garbage thief who traces an infiltrator who entered the sealed house and stole a hard disk from the couple’s computer, all pointing to a single mastermind behind the move. They trace the car networks connected to Jo and Jeeva, and then to Srinivas and Swathi, revealing that a single person orchestrates the nefarious acts and that this manipulator is tied to Tarun, the managing director of Olympus Hospitals.

As Jo delves into Swathi’s emails, she discovers a video clip that unveils the hidden truth behind Swathi’s murder and the earlier accident. She learns from a hospital receptionist that the dead children in the ambulance were victims of a ventilator failure, not an accident, and that the hospital tried to cover it up. Swathi records the truth in a video and sends it to Srinivas, only to become a target herself. Tarun responds by directing two hackers to delete the clip, but Jo has already downloaded it. When Tarun’s henchmen target Jo again, Jeeva arrives just in time to pivot her away from danger, but a second attempt leads to a brutal confrontation. Jo is kidnapped and kept in a building under construction, and Jeeva fights to reach her. In the final confrontation, Tarun slits Jo’s throat, and Jeeva acts to save her at the last moment, killing Tarun in the process.

With Tarun defeated and the hospital’s role in Swathi’s murder and the earlier accident laid bare, Olympus Hospitals’ complicity becomes undeniable. Srinivas is exonerated and released from prison, cleared of the charges that once chained him to a crime they did not commit. The film closes on a note of hard-won justice and a wary peace, as Jo fights to recover and as Jeeva, bound by the trauma they endured together, looks toward a future framed by the lessons of their perilous journey. In the end, the truth—exposed through meticulous pursuit, a dangerous race against time, and the strange pull of parallel destinies—binds these two lovers to a fragile, complicated hope.
