The film opens with a mythic premise set in a modern heaven, where Lord Paramasivan tasks Narada with selecting four souls for his Thiruvilaiyadal. The four chosen are Ramarajan, Jai Sampath a Siddha doctor; Ganesh, Vtv Ganesh a helpless man who is the husband of a local female don; Gopi, Sathyan Sivakumar a rising politician and son of a selfish elder; and Krishna, a budding actor. Paramasivan and Narada monitor their daily routines on an iMac, mixing ancient prophecy with a cheeky modern twist.
Ramarajan falls in love with a singer, Jayashree, and the pair’s romance quickly blooms into an engagement after just 26 days. The four men hatch a plan for a bachelor party in Bangkok, chasing one last thrill before commitments set in. Bangkok parties glow with energy and flirtation, but the revelry goes awry: the friends wake up to find themselves stranded on a tropical island, and soon six long months pass in a limbo of failed escape attempts. Paramasivan offers a final chance when a motorboat full of pirates appears. The four plead for help to reach Chennai, but the pirates refuse and flee. In a high-spirited turn, the quartet fights back, seizes the pirates’ boat, and escapes the island, leaving the pirates behind as they make their way home.
Back in Chennai, life resumes with a twist of fate. Ramarajan returns to a family that greets him with relief, but the reunion brings a sting: his father, Kamaraj has married another woman in the meantime. The storyline accelerates when Aravind Gautham is set to marry Jayashree; Ramarajan interrupts the wedding, entering with a mixture of resolve and humor. Jayashree rises from the wedding stage and walks toward him, an act that feels like a fresh beginning. The couple then steps onto the wedding stage together, exchanging vows with the blessings of friends and family, while Aravind Gautham looks on with acceptance. The narrative closes with Paramasivan and Parvati offering quiet guidance to their people, framing the earthly romance as part of a larger cosmic order. A post-credits note hints at behind-the-scenes moments, inviting viewers to glimpse the making of the mythic tale.
