Nativity 3: Dude, Where’s My Donkey?! 2014

Jeremy Shepherd, Martin Clunes, is an Ofsted inspector who has a daughter named Lauren. He is set to marry his fiancée Sophie, Catherine Tate, in New York City atop the Empire State Building.

Back at St. Bernadette’s, the new headteacher, Celia Imrie as Mrs. Keen, announces that the school will be inspected and could be closed if it fails. She insists that a super teacher will guide them through the process. Tension spikes when Mr. Poppy, Marc Wootton, arrives with his mischievous donkey Archie. Archie’s outrageous idea to save the school is a flashmob on the Empire State Building, a stunt that initially earns Mrs. Keen’s skepticism and even leads to her firing Mr. Poppy.

As the big day approaches, the real chaos begins to unfold. When Jeremy Shepherd and Lauren arrive, Mrs. Keen mistakes him for the supposed super teacher and lets them in, setting the stage for a blend of schoolroom wit and unlikely romance as the family dynamics collide with the impending ceremony. The plan to pull off the flashmob intensifies, pulling in the students and testing everyone’s nerves.

Meanwhile, Mr. Poppy disguises himself as a school inspector to sneak back inside while Mr. Shepherd tries to arrange for the donkey’s removal. In a comic misfire, Archie knocks him in the forehead, leaving him with amnesia and no memory of what happened before. The amnesiac inspector becomes a pivot of the story, forcing the children and Mr. Poppy to improvise as they scramble to keep the Empire State Building wedding from spiraling out of control.

With time running out, the group must work together to coax the missing memories back and keep the big day on track. The plan broadens from saving a school to protecting Sophie’s future as well, all while fending off the threat of Bradley Finch, Adam Garcia, the infamous flashmobber who aims to steal Sophie back. In a tale that blends heart, humor, and a pinch of holiday magic, everyone learns that teamwork and trust can turn a chaotic day into a celebration of ordinary heroes.
