
When boss Nate Girard avoids a murder conviction, photographer Kent Murdock investigates. At a party thrown by Girard and Redfield, Murdock meets a woman accusing Girard. After a clash with his fiancée Hester, she begs his help. Inspector Bacon reveals that during a photo shoot Redfield was killed and the woman, Meg Archer, fled. Murdock hides her.
