Two young girls, Anupama, Samvrutha Sunil and Rahel, Sherin Shringar, rent an old bungalow and are unsettled by the presence of a strange woman who seems to move about their place. One night, they both experience a terrifying dream in which someone is trying to kill them, and they awaken to realize that they shared the same nightmare. Fearful and shaken, they decide to leave the place the next day. The following morning, unsure of what happened, Rahel consults Dr. Arun, and the two head to his house to seek answers. When they arrive, they call out his name, but he doesn’t hear them and simply goes inside. In a haze of confusion, Rahel and Anupama notice a newspaper clipping announcing their 30th death orders, and the shocking realization hits them: they are dead. Determined to uncover the truth and seek vengeance, they vow to learn how they were killed, even as the mystery surrounding their deaths grows darker.

The narrative shifts to a new focal point as a second story unfolds. Jeevan, a diligent police officer, falls in love with Bala, a bright budding writer whose life intersects with his in both professional and personal realms. Their romance faces the usual strains of their ambitions and duties, keeping romance at bay until marriage. After their wedding, Jeevan is transferred to the high ranges of Idukki, a move Bala welcomes, believing the mountain air will fuel her writing and, perhaps, rekindle their bond. Yet the bungalow they left behind casts a longer shadow than expected. Bala begins to sense an otherworldly presence—someone besides the two of them inhabits the house—stirring paranoia and nightmarish visions. Sensing danger, Jeevan agrees to investigate, hoping to protect their relationship and uncover the bungalow’s hidden past.

As the investigation deepens, Jeevan uncovers a forgotten history tied to the bungalow and the two young women who previously inhabited it. His sleuthing leads him to a crucial clue: a bag left by a mysterious woman, accompanied by a greeting card addressed to Dr. Arun. This discovery prompts Jeevan to search for Dr. Arun at the hospital before the latter departs for Australia. In a key revelation, Dr. Arun confesses he does not know about Anupama’s feelings for him, and he quickly leaves to pack his bags. A flashback then reveals a disturbing sequence: Dr. Arun invites Anupama into his home, while Rahel waits outside. Inside, Dr. Arun reveals a predatory, manipulative side and attempts to harm Anupama. Rahel’s desperate scream pulls her back into danger, and the pair face an unimaginable fate: Anupama and Rahel are killed, and Dr. Arun disposes of their bodies by hanging them from a tree.

With the truth finally uncovered, the spirits of Anupama and Rahel take action against the man who wronged them. Their spectral presence targets Dr. Arun, who is left wandering haunted by their vengeance. In a dramatic turn, the two departed girls possess Bala, seizing control of her body, and they unleash their long-awaited justice. Dr. Arun’s life is ended as the two souls complete their grim calculus: their killer is punished, and their ethereal forces linger, continuing to drift between the living world and the afterlife. The story closes with the lingering implication that the spirits of Anupama and Rahel remain accessible to the world, their presence felt in Bala’s experiences and in the bungalow’s shadowy memories, a reminder of the price paid when the living and the dead cross paths.
