Four friends each receive phone calls inviting them to lunch at MK Restaurant, a popular hot pot chain in Bangkok. The group is summoned by Pang [Meesuk Khundilokchaipat], who reveals that she is planning to marry Kong [Thienchai Jayasvasti Jr.], her boyfriend of three months. The four women are surprised by the news and wonder if the engagement might be a bit sudden.

Kong joins the five for their meal. His well-groomed appearance earns nods of approval, but tensions rise as he starts offering tips on how to cook the meal and even presents a pair of earrings he picked out for Pom [Patcharasri Benjamas] for her birthday — the real reason the five girlfriends are getting together — which leaves everyone buzzing with mixed reactions.

The four women later meet at Fyne’s beauty salon and voice their suspicions that Kong might be gay, not just a metrosexual male. Pom reveals that she spotted Kong earlier at a male model beauty pageant she was covering, and she saw him embracing another man backstage. To confirm their belief, Pat [Kulnadda Pachimsawat] arranges a meeting with her brother, Bee [Michael Shaowanasai], who is a flight attendant for Thai Airways International. Bee puts together a checklist, which includes various physical attributes as well as biological and sociological backgrounds that could indicate whether a man is gay.

A series of comic scenarios then unfold as the four women investigate Kong and watch for telltale signs, all while trying to navigate friendships, jealousy, and the fear of an unexpected truth emerging from the carefully constructed social puzzle.
