Two timelines anchor this Telugu crime-thriller, weaving a story of legacy, power, and the tangled push-pull between fear and reform. In 2006, Venkat Ratnam, the father of Arjun Kalyan and a police officer by trade, notices a candidate being pushed onto the selected candidates’ list under the backing of MLA Kantham Byreddy. He refuses to endorse the choice, facing mounting pressure, and is transferred to Warangal. There, a confrontation unfolds when Byreddy’s convoy blocks a pregnant woman waiting in an autorickshaw; Venkat Ratnam intervenes, and Byreddy slaps him for his audacity. The moment is witnessed by Arjun Kalyan, who is still growing up under the shadow of his father’s law-and-order world.
