What Is Marriages About?
The premise of Marriages without spoilers.
In mid‑19th‑century Quebec, Yvonne lives under the domineering guidance of her elder sister Hélène and the strict Victorian morals that dominate the community. Her sister, fearing Yvonne's sensual passions, intends to send her to a convent to suppress them.
