What Is Marines About?

The premise of Marines without spoilers.

Courage knows no limits. With the Cold War ended, former foes unite against covert, heavily armed terrorist cells, criminals and resistance fighters. During a joint operation, four soldiers are captured, sparking a potential international crisis and panicking top military leaders in the United States and Russia. While a high‑level cover‑up is contemplated, the Marines refuse to wait for official orders, launching a daring rescue. Unexpected allies join their effort, but it remains uncertain whether their combined force will be enough to free the captives.
