
Set in a seaside European village that celebrates gadget invention, the yearly contest sees Oskar, Lotte’s father, facing rival Adalbert and his inventive wife. On the eve of the next competition, Lotte and Bruno discover a sea‑soaked book from which a Japanese gardener, Susumu, emerges.
