Slipp bolts with the inheritance, prompting the Stooges to pursue him to a theater.

Inside the theater, a tumultuous showdown erupts among Slipp, his associate Joe, and the Stooges—Moe, Larry, and Shemp—as they struggle for control of the money. A flurry of physical antics and exchanges of the inheritance bag follow, and the Stooges seem to gain the upper hand. However, three showgirls—who had hidden in a closet during the confrontation—emerge, each trying to claim a share of the cash, triggering another round of zany chaos.

Then a surreal turn: a living Napoleon portrait lunges into the fray, grabbing the bag and attempting to escape. Moe reacts with a precise brick blow, knocking the animated Napoleon to the floor and allowing the Stooges to reclaim the inheritance.
