In April 1974, a young feminist journalist, Julie Dujonc-Renens, and a seasoned Swiss radio reporter, Joseph-Marie Cauvin, are sent to Portugal to investigate the country's aid from Switzerland. During their journey, tensions rise as they travel with Bob, a sound engineer nearing retirement. The aid projects they uncover prove disastrous, and a sudden workers’ revolution complicates their mission. Forced to improvise, they ultimately disregard the directives of their radio station and their own professional ethics.
