Lisaa, Anjali, decides to meet her grandparents and secure their blessing for her mother’s second marriage. As Lisaa plans to move to the US, she believes her mother deserves a companion and therefore urges the remarriage. But Lisaa’s mother explains that her husband died unexpectedly after she married without her parents’ consent. To persuade her grandparents, Lisaa teams up with her friend Jaggu, Sam Jones, and the two set out on a five-day journey to the Western Ghats.

From the start, Lisaa and Jaggu notice something off about the elderly couple’s behavior. They initially fear the elders might be ghosts, but soon discover that the pair are psychos, not Lisaa’s real grandparents. The tension escalates when the psycho grandpa tries to chase Lisaa and drags her to a shed where he intends to kill her, only to be stopped by Sharada, Lisaa’s real grandma. The police eventually catch the psycho grandpa, who explains that he targets children who disrespect their parents because of a past grievance with his own son. He also reveals a troubling backstory: he had been living in an old age home, and the owner had been evicted, sending him and his partner to Lisaa’s grandparents’ house to solicit donations, where they found the real couple dead in each other’s arms, and the impostors had taken their place.

In the aftermath, the investigation unveils painful truths about family, consent, and the consequences of forcing tradition onto personal choices. The film blends suspense with dark humor, offering a stark look at deception, kinship, and the fragility of trust when faces look familiar but motives run deep.
