In his third year at a state university, Intoy Edgar Allan Guzman meets Jenny [Mercedes Cabral](/actor/mercedes-cabral, an attractive and affluent transferee from a private university. Jenny, popular among the male students, chooses to befriend Intoy, leaving him puzzled because he cannot see himself as someone desirable. When she probes about his sex life, he confesses his virginity, and she responds with a bold invitation that leads them to a motel, where they share a shower and become physically intimate.

From that moment, Jenny and Intoy begin spending a lot of time together, and their classmates start to suspect they are a couple. Intoy, however, insists there is no romance between them. In truth, they are friends with benefits—they go on dates and have sex without romantic attachments—an arrangement that lasts through their senior year. Through their dates and late-night pillow talks, they begin to know more about each other.

One day, Jenny decides to end the arrangement, and Intoy seems to accept it without question, though he secretly hides stronger feelings and fears she will walk away if she ever learns the truth. After a week of radio silence, Jenny reappears, reinstates the benefits, and they resume their pattern until Jenny becomes moody. As Intoy is about to declare his love, Jenny reveals a troubling truth: she is pregnant, but she insists that he is not the father. She cuts off all contact afterward, leaving Intoy to grapple with what happened.

With graduation looming, Intoy receives ₱3,000 from his parents and borrows courage from the small windfall to escape the memory of Jenny. He spends the money on a prostitute, a trans woman hostess, and plenty of beer, an attempt to forget and move on that ultimately proves futile. He graduates and begins to look for work, slowly coming to terms with life after college and the painful realization that he may never see Jenny again.
