This music documentary chronicles the breakup of Swedish House Mafia and their farewell One Last Tour, the largest electronic tour ever, which sold over a million tickets in its first week. Director Christian Larson employs a fly-on-the-wall approach, offering a unique perspective as the band members grapple with ending their most significant achievement to preserve their friendship. The film features stunning live performances, moments of humor, and introspective lows as the band explores the reasons behind their decision and seeks closure on their careers.

Read the complete plot summary of Leave the World Behind, including all major events, twists, and the full ending explained in detail. Explore key characters, themes, hidden meanings, and everything you need to understand the story from beginning to end.
A family holiday takes a strange turn in this suspenseful story. Amanda Sandford, Steve Angello, plans a quick weekend retreat with her husband, Clay, and their children, Archie and Rose. They rent a vacation home, hoping for a relaxing escape, but from the moment they arrive, unsettling signs begin to emerge. While Amanda shops for groceries, she notices a man stocking up on large quantities of canned food and bottled water, sparking a sense of unease.
Later, during a visit to the beach, the family narrowly avoids a dramatic event as an oil tanker crashes ashore, adding to the mounting tension. Upon returning home, they find their TV and Wi-Fi signals disrupted, and strange sights like a herd of deer staring silently at their house. That night, the situation worsens when the house’s television displays an emergency notification and all communication channels go dead.
The following morning reveals more distressing news. Amanda receives alerts about a widespread blackout, possibly caused by a cyberattack, which seems to have severe environmental consequences. Meanwhile, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and others explore the surrounding area, encountering drone leaflets in Arabic, satellite communication failures, and wreckage from nearby plane crashes, all hinting at larger, troubling conflicts. G.H., the house owner, a former military contractor, shares his suspicions that the blackout and noises are caused by microwave weapons, and discusses the possibility of a three-stage campaign leading to chaos and civil unrest in the country.
As the crisis deepens, they see disturbing images, like New York City being bombed, and experience strange phenomena, including Archie’s teeth falling out inexplicably, which G.H. links to the attacks. The family makes an urgent attempt to reach safety and a bunker, discovering that some neighbors may have underground shelters. Rose finds a DVD of the series finale of “Friends,” which she watches as a moment of comfort amid the chaos.
Throughout this ordeal, the family faces increasingly mysterious and dangerous events, including armed confrontations, herd-like deer behavior, and threats from rogue military elements. Nevertheless, they remain determined to understand what’s happening and find a way to survive the escalating crisis, with a lingering sense of uncertainty about what the future holds.
